Tim was a member of the famous Kingsmen Quartet for ten years. He is probably most well known for the great song "Wish You Were Here, which he introduced to Gospel Music in 1992. Tim has made many appearances on the Grand Ole Opry, and has been featured on the Gaither Homecoming Series.

Tim is an awarded musician, receiving the Singing News Fan Award for Gospel Music's favorite musician in 2004 and 2005.
